NRES Faculty Members Help Host Zheijiang Students for Summer Internship Program ACES welcomed 23 students from China's Zhejiang University (ZJU) on July 9, 2013, for a six-week research internship program. In its fourth year, the highly successful program for ZJU graduate students includes individualized work with an ACES faculty member to complete a research project, industry-focused field trips, and social and cultural activities. The program, coordinated by the Office of International Programs (OIP) will culminate with a poster session on August 14, 2013. OIP thanks the ACES faculty members who are serving as mentors for the 2013 ZJU summer program: Juan E. To foster this relationship and strengthen research collaborations, ACES has proudly hosted dozens of ZJU's finest students during the past three summers. As a testament to the support of ACES faculty and the program's organization, in 2012, ZJU named the UIUC-ZJU summer research program as its best study-abroad program. Moreover, this program is serving as an excellent recruiting tool for new graduate students to our ACES programs.
