The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences (NRES) is an interdisciplinary unit in applied sciences that brings biological, physical, and social scientists together to understand, teach, and work towards increasing the sustainability of urban, managed, and natural ecosystems from the local to global scale.
Formed in 1995, NRES is one of seven departments in the College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences offering both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
