NRES Admitted Student Visits are for future U of I undergraduate first-year and transfer students who have applied and been admitted to the Natural Resources & Environmental Sciences major.

Plan a Full Day Experience
Pair an Info session/Campus tour with an NRES Admitted Student visit on the same day! (Register for each separately) If you are only interested in visiting with NRES and not doing a general campus tour, feel free to only sign up for the ACES/NRES Admitted Student Visit.
Admitted Info Session & Campus Tour: Weekdays, 10am-12:30pm
Large group session for all admitted students.
- These daily campus visits include an overview of Illinois, a student panel, and a campus tour. Any future undergraduate students who have been admitted to U of I may sign up for these visits. Join hundreds of other future Illini to learn more about campus! (Can't make it to campus? Limited virtual visits are also available: See Schedule a Virtual Visit, Undergraduate Admissions)
- After picking a date for a campus tour, be sure to come back here to sign up for an ACES/NRES Admitted Student Visit (listed below) on the same date so that you can meet with the Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Sciences (NRES) while you're on campus. Registration is separate for the Admitted Info Session & Campus Tour and the NRES Admitted Student Visit.
ACES/NRES Admitted Student Visit: Mon, Wed, Fri, 1:30-3pm
Small group session for students who were admitted to NRES.
- After you've been admitted, schedule an appointment with an NRES staff and a current student for a personalized conversation in a small group setting. Learn about classes, career paths, and get the inside scoop on student life in our major. For students admitted to the NRES major only.
- Not able to make it on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday? Contact NRES staff to set up another day & time.

Illinois Bound Admitted Student Day: Saturday, March 28, All Day
Join the University of Illinois and College of ACES for a campus-wide event welcoming our newest Illini. You will see presentations with admissions, financial aid, and housing, and take a look around campus similar to the weekday Admitted Info Sessions & Campus Tour.
In the NRES portion of the day (10am-noon), experience presentations by faculty, alumni, and current students. Explore the possibilities for you to build your career in Natural Resources & Environmental Sciences at Illinois!
When you register, be sure to check the box for the 'College of ACES Experience' to sign up for the NRES session.
*Note: The NRES portion of the day is NOT an 'open house'. Please arrive at the start of the session to participate! You will have opportunities to participate in other campus activities in the afternoon.

Attend the annual student-led Cotton Club performance, sponsored by Central Black Student Union. Tour the Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center and talk directly with its students.
Community Showcase
Showcase offers the opportunity to explore campus, open houses, and resources like the Bruce D. Nesbitt African American Cultural Center, Hillel, or Native American House and talk directly with their students.
